Ryan Yasin a 24-year-old UK student of aeronautical engineering, find out a solution to the problem of young children outgrowing their clothes. Most children grow up to 7 sizes in their first 2 years. That’s why Ryan introduced his new line of clothing, called Petit Pli, that is for tots from newborn to 36 months grows with the child, due to inbuilt permanent pleats that stretch horizontally and vertically.
The inventor claims that the new line of clothing could help to save UK parents as much as £2,000 per year. Ryan hopes the it could help to save planetary resources by cutting down in manufacturing, shipping, and waste. Petit Pli was originally inspired by origami art – and is based on the Negative Poisson theory of engineering. This line of clothing has already won the UK James Dyson award.
