Nikola Tesla, maybe the greatest scientists of all times, believes that our “senses enable us to perceive only a minute portion of the outside world”. These words does not describe only his worldview but also refers to the mankind’s limitations in general. Also, it is known that he was always on the border between insanity and sanity.
One of his famous quotes is” One must be sane to think clearly, but one can think deeply and be quite insane. “
So, can we say that Tesla was a mad scientists? He was totally consumed by science and he always tried to push the boundaries more and more, therefore – he didn’t care much if his thinking was being accepted from the regular people.
He also said: “The Scientific man does not aim at an immediate result. He does not expect that his advanced ideas will be readily taken up. His work is like that of the planter – for the future. His duty is to lay the foundation of those who are to come, and point the way”
